Platform for Labour Action (PLA) Uganda
Platform for Labour Action (PLA) is a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in Uganda in 2000. For over two decades, PLA has been dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of vulnerable and marginalized workers by empowering communities and individuals. Operating in 16 districts, PLA's core programs include providing legal aid, fighting child exploitation, offering vocational training, and conducting vital research.

Platform for Labour Action (PLA) International
PLA International was established in Indiana, USA, as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to support the foundational work of our sister organization, PLA Uganda. Our mandate is to promote equitable development, foster international collaboration, and facilitate knowledge sharing. We focus on research-driven project design, developing scalable training programs, and conducting comparative studies to inform best practices and build capacity for our partners on the ground.
